Theo Boone was 13 years old, and his parents were both lawyers. Theo wanted to be a lawyer too. A criminal lawyer, to be exact. Theo knew more about law than some lawyers.
One day a man was caught and blamed for murdering his wife. It was the biggest trial in the history of Theo's city, and Theo knows the truth about it. One of his friends witnessed the murder, and has proof of it too. But his friend is an illegal immagrant. Theo doesn't want his friend to get sent to jail. But he can't let an innocent man walk free! Theo has to find a way to reveal the truth to the public!
