I read a book called STONE FOX by John Reynolds Gardiner. It was about a boy named little Willy who wanted to stop his grandfather from losing the will to live. But first he had to win a dogsled race for 500 dollars. He was about to win but his dog died ten feet from the finish line. My favorite part was when he crossed the frozen lake on his sled.
